Cinco de Mayo Events in Little Rock: Thursday to Sunday
Despite the less than ideal weather sweeping through central Arkansas, Arkansans are still finding the will to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Don’t let it rain on your parade, check out these events that will allow you to party all weekend.
Thursday
Arkansas Times Margarita Festival
Join the fun as Milagro Tequila presents the Arkansas Times Margarita Festival sponsored by Orion Federal Credit Union in the concourse at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. More than 15 of the city’s best bartenders will be creating their own signature margaritas for you to enjoy along with salsa music and spring weather! The Third Annual Arkansas Times Margarita Festival features popular local restaurants competing to determine who makes the Best Margarita. Competition will be stiff. Festivities start at 6 p.m. and run until 9 p.m. Ticket price ($25) includes 3-ounce margarita samples from over 15 bartender teams, live music and fun. Cinco (Dos) De Mayo
This event, held by Sharp: Young Professionals of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, raises money from the symphony through festive beverages and beer. There will be music by Moose of Alice 107.7, yard games, a silent auction, and salsa dancing lessons from Professional Latin Instructors, Rick and Sarah Pinedo. Tickets are $25. Tres de Mayo: Taco Night at Cathead’s Diner
Enjoy Cathead’s $25 All-You-Can-Eat Taco Bar including: Smoked Brisket tacos, Carnitas and fresh Mahi-mahi tacos! Cinco de Heights Street Festival
On May 4th, take the fiesta to the streets with the 3rd Annual Street Festival – CINCO de HEIGHTS! The day will include a few hours of incredible live music, a golf cart decorating competition, a golf cart giveaway, kid’tivities, Margarita Shacks, Beer Tents, Mojito Zones, Tacos, Street Snacks, and lots more! Start decorating those golf carts, ladies and gentlemen – the prizes and the bragging rights are HUGE. Proceeds from this event benefit the Arkansas Foodbank. Cinco de Flamingo
Cinco de Flamingo will kickoff at 4:00 PM and the party won’t stop until 11:00 PM. Close out the day flamingling with your flock with margaritas and tacos! Bask in the sun on the beaches of Cantrell Road. Lounge in the beloved parking lot as we transform the spots designated for your compact car into the coolest Miami club.
